Christmas at Grandma and Papa Chance's

This has been a busy weekend. We went to see Great Grandpa and Great Grandma, they are both felling better. Looks like there colds are almost gone. Great Grandpa is doing really good. He is getting around a ton better. Is back to acting like his old self again. We also stopped at Grandpa Ray's. We didn't get to stay long but it was enough time for Caitlyn to fall down a few times inside and out. And see the dogs and get into everything....

Then we were off to Grandma Chance's and Papa's, to see everyone there. Aunt Sondra and Uncle Chris were there Rylie was also there. Caitlyn has been waiting to play with Rylie for months now. They played with make-up and also got to sled. Uncle Chris pulled them around.

Let it Snow

Well it is snowing here. I went out to get the mail today and the snow was up to my knees. We can't open the front door because there is to much snow packed on it. I am just glad I bought some food yesterday. Hopefully it will stop snowing and if

Thank you Whitt Family

Caitlyn got to open a gift from her Travis and family. Thank you for the gifts. It made Caitlyns day. She woke up sick this morning and your gift helped her get in a better mood. And the puppy has been dressed and redressed a few times.

Making Christmas Cookies

Caitlyn has been dying to make cookies, but we couldn't do it till night. Right after this picture she said she was done and wanted to watch cartoons. But it took from 6pm till 12:30am for me to finish. Next time I am starting earlier. No matter what my boss(Caitlyn) says.

Caitlyn got her belt tonight in Karate

Caitlyn has been waiting to take Karate for about a year now. She keeps asking but we didn't know if she would really like it or not. She asked for them again for Christmas so we found this really great place for her to go. Since she really didn't need anything for Christmas we got her the lessons for a year plus her karate clothes and numb chucks. So here are a few pictures of her in class and getting her belt. She also got to break a board but that is on the camcorder so I can't post that.

Christmas Gift

When we go home today Caitlyn found a gift on the porch for her. It was from the lady next door. Caitlyn loves to stand outside and talk to her all the time.

Well we are heading to see Dr Phillips on the 6th. We have to have another UA done. She also has a sore throat. I hope the sore throat is just from to much talking. Wish us luck....

My little Model showing of Mommy's birthday gifts. If you can't tell what she is holding they are turtle earrings that Caitlyn picked out herself just for mommy. Daddy and Aunt Sondra got me the buggy bench she is laying on. And there is a locket around her neck I got from Bob and Mary... Thanks to everyone that sent me the e-cards and Cards. Update on Caitlyn

Good news is that Caitlyn is feeling better. The bad news is that Wesley ER didn't culture the urine so now we won't know if she is on the right meds till after she finishes it. Then we have to wait 2 days then take her back in for a test. And she hates the med. And she has to take 3 tsp....two times a day.

Trip to the ER

We ended up at the ER till 12:30am Sunday. Caitlyn liked watching the clock go from 2330 to 0000. Plus she was very happy when we finally didn't back to the treatment room she got her own TV and cartoons were on. Caitlyn was having problems going to the bathroom. She ended up having a bladder infection. She was so happy to show off her pee in the cup. IT was Orange. Oh the things kids think other people we don't know, should know. I just had to take a picture with my photo because she was so cute. She finally got the TV of her dreams. 5 inches from her head....

Today Caitlyn's friend Aiden came over to stay for a few hours so his mommy and daddy could go to a movie. We had fun the kids helped put away the clean clothes. Now in a few years I would be able to pay her enough money to help out.

We went to visit Great Grandpa last night at Wesley Rehab. While we were there Grandpa Ray showed up Caitlyn took pictures of everyone. She told Grandpa Ray that she wanted him to pose. And she didn't like the first one so she made him do it again. And then told him she didn't like him having his hand on the end of the bed. Thats my little boss...But Great Grandpa is looking good. And Caitlyn is loving having him close she gets to see him more often. He told her that when he got out of the hospital he would take her out for pizza. Well what Caitlyn heard was SUNDAY I will take you out for pizza. Nothing like hearing what you want.

Lunch Date

Alan and I had a lunch date with 3 very special children. I have a great nephew and 2 great nieces that all have birthdays in Oct and Nov so I could think of what to get them. So I thought I would take them out for lunch. And we had lots of fun with them. Ash and Austin are so smart and funny. Plus they are big helpers. Austin was filling us in on all the coaster rides. (too cute) but don't tell him I said that. He is a big boy. Austin just about got left at the Chinese food place. You know they have those little place mats that tell you if you were born in 2002 you are a horse and so on. Well we talking and I said I am a tiger and Little Austin asked if I was born in 1950 something. Oh that boy.....And Ashleigh is such a sweet and kind preteen. Hard to believe that she is going to be 11. Plus she didn't say I was old. (I think I should get her an extra big something) Anna is a sweetheart, she reminds me of Caitlyn. And that says a lot. Poor Tami has her hands full. Then when we dropped off the kids Amy was home from school. Amy is always shy around me, but she is always sweet. But I did get to see her fight with her sister over the car seat before we left. Alan and I had a lot of fun with our nieces children. They are very sweet kids to be around. They must have a Great Mom.

I told my sister that the reason you don't give your child away after they have had a really bad day is because they look so sweet when they are a sleep. God knew what he was doing....
Today before I put Caitlyn on the bus I went to the kitchen to get her a muffin and a Sunny D. When I came back she was gone. I found her standing in the shower fully dressed looking at the shower wall. I asked her what she was doing and she told me that she didn't like the ducks up that high and wasn't getting out till I moved them down. Now mind you these are ducks that are suppose to go on the bottom of the tube but they would stick so I have them on the walls of the shower. I put them up at the top of the shower about 3 days ago and she just now noticed.
