Caitlyn went to see her Great Grandma Henson this weekend and she just loves playing with grandma's walker. She even talked grandma into pushing her down the halls again.

Halloween we are ready here

Go Go Caitlyn Ranger...

She won't watch the Power Ranger show but she had to be a Pink Power Ranger this year. And I just want you all to know that I really liked it before she picked her own costume. She has been a baby chick, and 50's girls, a poodle and also little mermaid. And now this. Whats a mother to do with an out spoken little girl. (buy a pink power ranger costume I guess)

Sleeping beauty...

As you can tell Shadow takes his naps very serious, can you tell he does not like to be bothered. Just like a few other Taylors in this house....

Caitlyn loves to ride her big wheel

Caitlyn saved her money and then begged grandma nag nag for a bit of money also. Because she really wanted that big wheel and she rides every chance she gets. And she has a blast doing it. The first time she did a spin out she scared herself... now it old have to her.

Sometimes its just to much work, so she will just ride it down this way.

A Day to Remember

Today is a good day to look at your life and think about what you have and remember what others lost on this day 6 years ago. Lots of things have changed. It kind of shows you that if you are will to put in the time in your life you will be rewarded. 6 years ago I was working as a nanny taking care of 5 boys, 3 were at school and 2 were home when the planes hit the buildings. They were watching TV when the plains hit and wanted to know why it happened and what was going on. It was very hard to explain then. And it is still had to explain to a child why adults do things. I guess the best thing to take from Sept 11th 2001 is that you don't know how much time each one of us is given on earth. So live life, love your family and friends and let them know you care. All the other stuff will sort itself out in the end. Your child won't remember that she didn't get that gameboy game she wanted when she was 5. But she will remember that you love her and you kept her save. It is never easy if it was this would be called Heaven. And sometimes this rock we live on feels far from that.

Another week full of fun has past

Caitlyn is doing pretty good in school. She really likes her teacher this year. So we are already doing better than last year. We just need to work on getting Caitlyn not to talk all the time...:) Caitlyn had a bit of a cold last weekend, now Alan I both are sick this weekend. I keep telling its her turn to cook for mommy and daddy but she says she is to busy.
Caitlyn got her big sucker for being good in school. So she wanted to show it off.

These are a little out of order but I still wanted to post them because they are good pictures.

Coronado Heights

On our way to the zoo in Salina we made a little stop off and went to show Caitlyn Coronado Heights. We always say sometime when we don't have to meet someone or be somewhere we will drive over there. It was pretty neat and you could see a very long way. I didn't think that anyone came up there but there was about 6 cars full of people up there when we went to leave.

Rolling Hills Zoo

Caitlyn got to feed the little baby
Then she was covered with food. Because as the baby was eating it the wind came up and covered all the kids.
This little guy really liked Caitlyn he followed her all around the glass.
